|
I originally got involved in the sport in the spring of 2000. I played on and off for a few years and took a major break in 2004 to tend to my family prior to getting deployed. I then served in in Iraq from Jan 2005 to Dec 2005.
In 2006 I got out to the field more and started to get more involved in the sport. I hit a couple other fields in my area and also threw together a team for a small 3-man tournament at the end of the season.
During the 2007 season I started to get even more involved with the sport. I played at my home field more than in 2006. I even hit up a few scenarios and big games outside of my local area
Also in late 2007 I got more involved with my home field, Hole In The Wall Paintball. It started with me volunteering to ref a few groups and tournaments. Now I am helping to organize a house scenario team and a few events for the 2008 season.
In Jan 2008 I also started a scenario paintball team at HITW. At the end of Feb the team decided on a name, Guns of Paradise. The team has plans to attend a few scenario events this year and to compete in the SPPL.
